A lightweight and elegant piece of kit that gently glows like a new moon (“mōna” in Old English). The MONA is a 3000mm waterproof shelter built for 1 camper, featuring air-light aluminum poles and stakes, a 20D nylon outer shell, 20D nylon mesh inner tent, single-layered silicone coating, and a sturdy 40D bathtub floor. It weighs just 3.6lb (1630g), ideal for travelers on the go, and can be packed up small for easy carry and storage.
The MONA is shaped like a seashell, just big enough for one, with an easy-to-install tent frame of 2 crossed tent poles, angled at 45° at the tip to maximize usable space and tent height so that the camper has ample space to move around and organize things. There’s one zippered entrance at the front, buffer space between the inner and outer tents for good airflow, and we’ve installed a small, zippered passageway for storying items in between the 2 layers. There are 2 light attachment points on the tent ceiling and we included a 75D floor mat for an extra layer of comfort. Looking for a weekend getaway into the woods? The JADE is an inflatable air pad made for spring, summer, and fall, offering a 3D structured insulation system that’s extra firm when the pad’s been inflated to offer superior support for the sleeper. Made extra wide for a better shut eye, it measures 6.5ft by 2.3ft to comfortably sleep most sleepers.
To set it up, an air pump is included with the product, and it only takes 4-6 times to fully inflate. While its sister product, the OBSIDIAN, is lighter and warmer, the JADE uses 40D nylon and extra filling for more durability and sleep support, and is an excellent option for non-winter outdoor use.
