Great tent! Lightweight & Affordable

I purchased this tent based on the quality of One Tigris's dog harnesses which I've been using for years. I needed a lightweight tent for a 5 day kayaking trip on the Salmon River. This is my new favorite tent! I would recommend securing ALL the lash points on the rain fly...so the fly isn't touching the tent walls anywhereSuper lightweightWaterproof fly actually worksTent stuffs into it's own stuff bagHas it's own footprintVentilation is greatPrice point is fantastic!Matches my dog's harness.

Great value for backpacking newbie

Great tent for backpacking beginners or camper looking for tent under $100. This tent is well-made. Not actually ultralight tent (which should be under 2 pounds for one person), but not heavy as well. This tent has enough space and headroom to sit inside it or change clothing. One thing to remind, this tent doesn't allow excellent air flow, not so perfect for summer use.

Neat Design with Some Interesting Features

After weighing this tent against my other one-man tent which I though was the lightest, this just beat it out at 3.5lbs. I wouldn't consider this an ultra-light tent, but for how spacious it is and the fact that it comes with a ground sheet makes up for that. I mostly have positive things to say about this tent, though there are a few things I'd like to see change. The good:- Comes with a ground sheet- Spacious vestibule area on both sides- Access zipper to the vestibule area with no door- Unique design- Large overhead pocket and side pockets- Plenty of room insideThe Not so good:- No way to ventilate the rainfly at the head area (sticks to inner tent)- Not enough pegs included to fully stake out the tent (missing 2)I don't know why they didn't include enough tent pegs to fully stake this out. I've never see that before, but it's an easy fix. The missing loop to pull the rainfly away from the inner tent is not so easy. I see this on a lot of different tents though for some reason, and really wish they wouldn't do that. In the pictures, I rolled back the large side of the vestibule flap, but think it makes more sense to roll up the other smaller flap instead. All in all, very happy with this tent and will use it for backpacking trips when I need to save weight on my sleeping setup. The one I had prior to this was nice but too small for my liking. At the time of writing this, it looks like this is on sale right now, and would totally recommend it.
